Smart home solutions via a lamp socket
The Anyware Smart Adaptor is the world’s smallest connected lamp socket adaptor designed to provide next-generation home automation for everyone. Easy to install and use, it offers features, from advanced lighting control to seamless home monitoring and security, via its built-in ambient light, sound, temperature and humidity sensors.

Compactness
The main challenge with the design was getting the size right. A compact size was imperative for optimal bulb position in the lamp holder. We challenged engineering and hardware teams with the design, which inspired concepts now in the patent process.
Solving space issues using the same thread size in both the lamp socket and Smart Adaptor would not work for the length. We overcame this by stepping down the bulb thread fitting to the adaptor from E27/E26 to E14/12.
Integrated
The design is intended to blend well with its surrounding components for an integrated, discrete and uninterrupted assembled appearance. The tapered form provides space for the internal components and speaks to the spread of a beam of light.
We subtly worked with the branding, communicative and functional elements in the details, tying brand elements and functions together with Ui.
